May. 23rd, 2009 12:02 amTonight I will NOT be posting about: Hawaii, Dream Live 6th, Cyrano, Mao-chan and Daisuke making out, cute shoes, karaoke, how hilarious the kids were this week, or how it seems that nearly everyone I know was born in May.
You know how when you put off updating because you just don't have the time and/or the energy to sit down and write, and when you finally do, it seems kind of pointless, because all the things you were going to write about somehow seem to have become irrelevant?
Yeah. But there are a few things that need to be said, so I shall say them now.
First of all, I saw Oliver last weekend. Seeing a show like that is all the more impressive when you know just how much work went into it, the countless hours of rehearsing and preparing -- hell, I only made two of the costumes and that was but a tiny, tiny fraction of the whole. I was so proud to see Becca strutting her stuff up there, knowing how much she'd invested in this. I'm only sorry I didn't have any energy to be more genki about it, but my emotional exhaustion that day made me feel like I'd been run over by a freight train.
The exhaustion is also the main reason why I haven't been posting (because I know you all refresh your friends' page constantly just to see if I've written anything! XD); I'm just not used to being surrounded by people! No matter how lovely everyone is, and they are, I'm a solitary person at heart, and unused to being constantly in contact with others.
Now I should be getting to bed, because I am getting my hair cut tomorrow, and I need to be in top form for that! ^o^
