My father is in Japan for two weeks, taking up space in my apartment. So while he's napping on my bed, I get to thinking, "What's missing? What does the internet need?" And then it hits me.
What the internet needs is MORE CAT PICTURES! I mean, duh! And since I don't think my cats have ever been formally introduced to you all, allow me to rectify the situation.
Buji, a.k.a. Mr. Sillypants, a.k.a. Marshmallow Cat:

Buji is the silliest cat I've ever met. If there were a Ministry of Silly Cats, he'd be Minister. He acts like a two-year-old child, wanting to be picked up and cuddled at all hours of the day. Sometimes he makes really odd creaking noises, and sometimes he lies around in extremely weird positions (these pictures were all taken while he was grooming, but he sometimes actually sits around like this).

He's also half-Siamese, so he tends to go cross-eyed a lot.

His favourite toy is this threadbare old hackey-type thing, that apparently once contained catnip.

This is Bujiong, a.k.a. Jiong-Jiong, a.k.a Miss Pretty Kitty:

Bujiong is Buji's younger adopted sister and has a much more typical cat personality, i.e. she's mostly affectionate when she wants to be fed. She used to be overweight, and looked like a football on legs, but we put her on a diet and now she's sleek and elegant again.
Sometimes she makes funny faces,

and demands to be admired,

but generally, she's pretty, and she knows it.

Last, but not least, is Tabitha, a.k.a. Croquette, a.k.a Principessa. Buji and Bujiong are G's cats, and he's had them for nearly 10 years, but Tabitha is a recent addition to the family, as of this January. One of G's coworkers was moving into a pet-free building and had to give his cat up. G took her in mostly for me, but as I can't have cats in my apartment, she's staying with him for the time being. She came to me as Donella (and has the papers that say so, since she's a pure-bred American Shorthair) but I quickly changed that, so her full name is now Principessa Tabitha Donella de la Croquette.

She's silly, though not as much as Buji, but she likes to roll around and make funny little "Prrrt!" sounds.

Also, she's absolutely adorable, and she knows it.
