HAH! Within his first two sentences, I had TOTALLY called that Ando's Japanese was accented. Not terribly, but enough for me to notice right away. So I was thinking he was American with Japanese parents, but then I got to thinking, "You know, he doesn't look typically Japanese." Turns out I was right again: he's Korean.

ETA: Also, his "Japanese" accent in English is inconsistent. He's still cute, though. ^_^

Ando's accent drives my mother in law nuts. She can't suspend her disbelief enough to let it go. I, of course, can't hear it but it makes watching Heroes with her next to impossible! :o)
