MOAR CATS!

So the internet was all like, "You have a cat living with you and yet you aren't posting pictures?!" And I was all,
I was trying to discourage Tabitha from jumping up onto the counter and sniffing around the sink, so I turned the tap on, but she didn't even react! Most likely, her fur is so thick that she didn't even realise there was water running down her back (I hadn't let it flow that hard, I'm not cruel!). Then, when she finally noticed the water, she acted like it was the greatest thing ever. Yummy, a rusty faucet to lick! :D~

Later on, she "helped" me organise my fabric. Of course, in Cat, "help" means "find the spot that will show whatever fur I shed to its best advantage", don't you know.

I took Tabitha to the vet this afternoon, and she was not amused, though she didn't do much more than meow pitifully at me for a bit. I also got the pet hotel sorted out for the time I'll be in Taiwan, and I suppose a person who takes on the responsibility of having a pet shouldn't complain too much about the cost of it. Still, it's so much easier when you have family nearby, as they're pretty much obligated to take care of such things.
Actually, the day after she arrived, I had a brief flash of "OMG I'm completely responsible for this furry little life! D:" moment. I imagine it's what one feels when one has children, except that a cat's behaviour never reflects badly on their owner, as one expects them to be aloof and haughty. Tabitha is, however, an affectionate little attention whore. An adorable one, at that. <3
