When I dug my backpack out of the back of my closet last night, I couldn't believe that I hadn't used it since 2004. O_O Not that I haven't travelled since then, but I've been doing it either by car (Newfoundland), in a parent-friendly manner (France x 2), or on short weekend trips (Kyoto, Okinawa, Osaka).
Also, I'll be in a new country! Technically I've been to Taiwan before, but only to change planes to get to and from Vietnam, so that hardly counts.
Now I have to drop Tabitha off at the pet hotel, and M-P and I will go kick around Ueno for a while before heading to Narita.
