Because for most of my life I had long hair (I'm talking waist-length or nearly), I got used to wearing it up in the summer to try and keep my neck and back sort of cool. Now my hair is medium-length and layered, but still heavy enough for my neck to get sweaty very quickly. Still, I don't wear it up all the time when I'm outside. I've found that when there's a bit of a breeze, it runs through my hair, lifting it up; that feeling, like cool fingers stroking my scalp, is one of the most delicious sensations in the world.

We were in Taipei for the 1st 2 days, then traveled pretty much around the coast of Taiwan. We spent some time in Kaoshoang, then Chunghua. I did feel the humidity, and some places were kind of hot despite it being winter. We visited quite a few museums and night markets, too.
I've been woken up by roommates making noise before. In dorms, even people outside your room can wake you up, and I wake easily.
I don't sleep much on the plane. To begin with, I have trouble falling asleep, and when I'm not in my own bed, it's worse.
I often have trouble catching up at LJ, too.
That's the reason I don't like mid-length hair. When it's too hot, it's in the way, and you can't tie it up. That's why I prefer my hair either long or short. I try to prevent having mid-length hair in the summer.
