I just got back from Hokkaido and I've got to get to bed, because I've got to get up and go to work tomorrow (;__;), so here's the short version:

Hokkaido is awesome and I want to go back! Who's coming with me? :D

I lost my onsen virginity!

There was snow up on the mountain and I got to spend half the day walking around in it!

Penguins rock! And seals are adorable balls of blubber.

October in Asahikawa = autumn in the Ottawa valley and it kind of made me a wee bit homesick.

The green stuff on Shidax's (karaoke chain) "Party Pizza"? Is pot. I kid you not! XDDDDDD

My nihongo is jouzu (according to flight attendants and random elderly Japanese hikers), but my Swedish is mada mada da ne!

On the monorail from Haneda, I sat across from Baba Touru's separated-at-birth twin. I did a double take at first, but this guy's eyes were a bit larger and farther apart, and his nose was a bit shorter. Pas mal joli, ce garçon! :D~

A more in-depth retelling of my trip will be available tomorrow, once I've gotten Tabitha safely home and have mollified her with lots of petting and the food she likes and maybe some extra treats.
