So you can pay Y4000 to Y5000 to get a bikini wax, or pay Y3000 to Y6000 (depending on how much you want done!) for a laser session, which should be permanent after 5 or 6 times. What is there to think about, really?!? Also, I find the laser to be much less painful than the wax, it only takes a few minutes, there's no sticky stuff involved, the staff at SBC is lovely, and I've so far had no redness or itching at all. The only drawback would be that it's not an immediate fix, as you have to wait a couple of weeks for the dead roots to grow and fall out, but it's satisfying because you know they're not coming back!
On top of that, I am beyond stoked that after only two sessions, the last one nearly two months ago, my underarms are still nearly perfectly smooth -- and this is all the more miraculous because since I've been 12 or so, even right after shaving them it looked like I hadn't done so in a couple of days. ;__; The bikini line result has also been encouraging, though not nearly so dramatic, because the machine wasn't on as high a setting. I think I surprised the guy a bit when I went for my underarms the first time, because when he asked me if it was too painful, I was all, "Daijoubu desu! :D" even after he'd amped up the laser twice. Then the smell of frying hair really started to get strong! >_<
