blodeueddToday is my 7-year lj anniversary.
Wow.
Let's see... Seven years ago, I was just out of university, still living with my parents, and working as a receptionist to save up money for my first trip to Europe. I went to the AAS anime showings every two weeks, was studying Mandarin, and was starting to think of going to Japan to teach English the following year. I spent lots of my free time with Anna, and had just met and become friends with G, and was still reeling with the excitement of having seen The Fellowship of the Ring 6 times on the big screen.
Perhaps it's always this way, but when I thought of my future seven years ago, I never would have suspected this outcome. Save perhaps the living in Japan bit.

Date: 2009-03-19 03:02 am (UTC)I know exactly what you mean -- who would've thought 7 yrs later, you'd be in Japan and I'd be in Calgary, living our lives they way we are now?! *HUGS* I'm glad that something hasn't changed though -- the fact that we're still great friends!!!
