Another glorious sunny day

Tomorrow morning, I'll be at Lawson trying to snag Dream Live 6 tickets (2nd May, 2:00) for puzzlepiece, yume_no_koe and firstlight83. Last chance: anyone else want in? Any of you three want out? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Also, I'll be shopping for gay kirakira mitt fabric today. Does anyone besides tayles, kurayamihimitsu, later_uk and xelloss_poo want in on this bit of silliness? I just hope I can buy in lengths under 0.5m, because I really won't need that much of each colour.

Now, I need to buy a cake pan. I have one, but it's square, and it just feels wrong to bake sponge cake in a square pan. I don't even know why, it just does! And I think I'll need to make two cakes for tomorrow's trifle, seeing as so many people will be coming over. Urgh, and that means I need another large bowl to hold a second trifle... Eda, I'll set some cake (with strawberries in syrup) aside for you, so it isn't contaminated by the dairy-licious whipped cream. ^_^

On the to-do list today:

- Pick up sparkly tennis DVD!
- Shop for fabric and baking supplies
- Bake 2 sponge cakes (trifle assembly to be done tomorrow)
- Move things around in the kitchen to accomodate the little set of shelves/cupboards
- Take out summer clothes for airing and sorting
- Go through winter clothes and decide what to discard and what to keep
- General cleaning
- Work on the Oliver! costumes
- Finish modifying the damn denim skirt! My plan was to wear it with boots and bare legs, but the weather's suddenly gotten really warm, so boots may already be out...

Before all that, though, I need to hang up the laundry and shower.

ETA: also, GET OUT THE SUNSCREEN. Because I was outside with my shoulders bared yesterday, and the sun was damn hot.

I'm tempted for the sparklie gay pride glove but I think I might just buy the Shitenhouji one at the show but then my Rokkaku love is screaming that it needs a glove too. lol Can't win!

Good luck with your list of things to do! mmm trifle. I wonder if I can find a place around here that will have something close enough to appease the craving you have created. :P
