4.5 Announcements, or, Oh No She Didn't!

It's just occurred to me that I'll soon be spending 4 days in Okinawa, and I need someone to look after Tabitha. Would anyone be up for the job? I'll be away from home from the morning of the 19th (Thursday) until late in the evening on the 22nd (Sunday). I'll leave plenty of food with her on Thursday, but she'll need to be checked on at least once, preferably twice before my return (say, Friday at some point and Saturday evening/Sunday morning). Is anyone up for the job? I will bring you back something strange and awesome from Okinawa! Or will repay you some other way, if you prefer. If any out-of-towners want to volunteer, you're quite welcome to spend the whole long weekend here, since Monday is a holiday. =^_^=

I'm giving everyone a great big advance warning that I am quite willing to host Christmas dinner! For those of you not fleeing Japan for the holidays, consider yourself invited for some Yuletide cheer at my place. My apartment gets cold and lonely in the winter, so help me warm it up!

Of course, before that, there is still American Thanksgiving [this being the .5 announcement, since it isn't really news] before that, so remember to join us chez lizstarsky and akahannah on the 29th of this month, if you're free and like to spend time eating with friends. ^_^

I bought a wig today. It's my first, unless you count the gold one I wore once in elementary school for Halloween and the horribly cheap black one I bought at some point in secondary school for... I can't even remember why I bought it, because I never used it for a costume, and probably only tried it on a couple of times.

This wig is awesome, though, and I just need to give it a cut and style it properly. And then find a cosplay occasion to wear it! Because unlike Laura and Tiffany, I didn't buy it to wear it around town. While I am thinking of changing my hair colour, it certainly won't be to ice blue!

So, what do you think? Can you see me as a redhead? A platinum blonde? o_O...

Where do you live? If it's not too far out of my way I could probably check in on Friday/Saturday. If you wanted we could always try her together with my cat and see if it would work that way, though it's probably less stressful for her to stay in her own home huh ^^

I'm near Kichijouji Station, though technically in Mitaka. Not sure how long that would take to get to from where you are...

It would be hilarious to have our cats meet, but Tabitha does NOT like to travel. Even the 10-minute trip to the vet's office is worthy of LOUD complaining... :P

By the way, I meant to friend you sooner, but kept forgetting to ask Eda what your lj name was. Sorry! ^_^;;;

Hmm, well my new job is at Kamikitazawa so it's not that far out of the way. Looks like I'd just get to Meidaimae then go the opposite way for 10 minutes instead of going back towards Shibuya.

So I could definitely check once after work friday (around 8ish) and then again Sat night/sun morning. If that's ok with you then we should probably have me meet up with Tabitha sometime in advance so as to not freak her out. Hehe mine doesn't really like her crate either. When I moved here I had her drugged so she slept the whole time.

Would you? :D Thank you so much! <3 The nearest station is actually Mitakadai on the Inokashira line (local), it's a 15-minute walk to my place. From Kichijouji there's a bus, though.

What's your work schedule like? I work weekdays until just before 6. This weekend I've got some things planned, but I can squeeze you in somewhere, so let me know when you're free! ^_^

Gah, if I ever need to take her anywhere farther away than the vet's, I WILL have to drug her... >_>;;;

Well most nights I don't get out of work til 9, but Friday should be an early night for me if you want to make it Friday. I know where your stop is, and I really don't mind the walk, it saves money and is good for dieting.

Let me know if Fri would be ok. I need to make sure of what time I'll be getting out but I think around 8 or earlier.

Awww for sadness ;____; Thanks for taking the time to look though! And OMG Shibuya Mandarake... that is like... HEAVEN! XD YEAY LAYERS! When I was down in Cali we went to a Kinokuniya and my friend was looking at the CosMode's there and I was like "Murrr... why don't they carry Layers!" and then I saw one out of the corner of my eye and got SO excited, pulled it out and my face dropped... THE SAME ISSUE I ALREADY OWNED! XD Just my luck huh? XD
