OMG. I watched the trailer. Don't you think it looks cheesy? The special effets look kinda tacky, Gollum, amoung other things. And the Arwen/Aragorn thing. Uh oh, I'm worried the second movie won't live up to the first one!

I just repeat the words "Battle of Helm's Deep" to myself, and I suddenly feel much better. Though Gollum did look kinda cheesy, I must admit, and that Arwen bit looks kinda iffy. I hope the animation will look better than that on the big screen, the Ent looked *so* Diablo. But I want my fix, dammit!

ok so yeah, what's with Gollum? And that ent, totally. And you know when we're shown for a second the part where Gandalf fights the balrog, it shows him being whirled around by the arm or something... what the heck? It looks ridiculous!

Well, it took me a while to get used to that little magical wrestling match between Gandalf and Saruman, and I expect this will be much the same.
