Am I the only person who still darns socks? *curious*

Moving on to other things, I've finally gotten around to watching some more So You Think You Can Dance!

Cat looks like a goddess. That is all.

Karla & Jonathan (hip hop): I don't even need to think about this one, it was just boring, and they were way out of sync. I kept looking away from the screen.

Asuka & Vitolio (jazz): Hmm, it seems Mandy Moore also refuses to let the '80s die. At least she was around back then! XD This was good, but somehow the simple choreography made it seem that they were dancing in slow motion. I've got to hand it to Asuka, she kind of worked an outfit that is Jante-worthy.

Melissa & Ade (rumba): *wipes up drool* Yum, buff ballerina in nearly nothing. :D~~~ Damn, this was hot.

Janette & Brandon (hip hop): I loved this, it was quite a clever routine, and Janette was a great rock star. Those were possibly the most awesome tights I've ever seen!

Kayla & Kupono (Viennese waltz): Gorgeously danced. What more can I say?

Randi & Evan (contemporary): Mia Michaels really outdid herself this time. The theme of the piece was Evan being fascinated by Randi's ass. XDDD Watching the routine, my mind was on a continous loop of, "No way... they won't... they totally did!" and when it ended, I burst out laughing, it was so perfect and perfectly performed. Then I watched it a second time, and once again couldn't help laughing out loud at the end. This is one to rival the park bench, I think.

Caitlin & Jason (paso doble): Dancing to Carmina Burana in costumes such as those (think purple fantasy Arabian Nights) should have yielded MUCH more passion. It looked good, it just wasn't very intense. Caitlin has a low hairline.

Jeanine & Phillip (Broadway): OMG, Phillip split his pants! At first I wondered if they were meant to be split and if it would be part of the routine, but it wasn't. Pretty funny reactions from everyone, though! But what did they expect, having his crotch down to his knees and then asking him to leap over a large piece of furniture... This dance was cute and fun, but not outstanding.

Bottom three couples should be Karla & Jonathan, Caitlin & Jason, and Jeanine & Phillip. Though it seems that Phillip has a devoted enough following that he'll be safe for a while... I can sense the judges sharpening their knives.

And the results!

Cat's stylist was beamed in straight from the '70s, it seems.

Wow, that was one sexy opening number! Was Nigel peeved at Canada out-sexying the American show? XD

So I was right on two counts, but Jeanine & Phillip are safe (obviously) and Asuka & Vitolio will dance.

Cat squeeing over little boys = <3 But come on, how can you take seriously a group of children and barely-pubescent boys going by the name "Rage Boys" (Boyz? Boyzzz?)? "Wholesome Adorable Boyz Crew" would be more honest.

Wow, Vitolio's solo was what a solo should be. His jumps were very cool, some I'd never seen before! And as someone who usually doesn't spend that much time admiring the male form, I must admit that I admire his! ^o^

Based on the solos, it's a sad fact that Asuka's in a precarious position because she's a ballroom dancer. I don't care, though, I like her. I'd rather see Caitlin go; while she's extremely good, there's something that seems... not off about her, but her face doesn't seem to have that many different expressions. I like watching her dance, but as soon as there's a close-up of her face, it kind of dulls everything. And I'd send Jonathan home, because apart from his acrobatics, I don't find him that interesting.

Right on both counts, though was I watching a differnt Vitolio? What the hell was Nigel spouting about him failing to deliver?

And now, off to bed with me.
