Mmmm, CPoT...

blodeueddJust in case I wasn't already convinced that Chinese PoT is made of pure, unadulterated WIN, episode 6 of the second season opens with the guys showering, and Ju Wan wandering around with his head covered in shampoo suds, singing at the top of his lungs. XDDD And Inui has chest hair! Cpot is manlier than any flavour of Jpot.
Watching this, I actually felt like Ju Wan & Co. who are in the dark about what's actually going on, given that I can understand at most 10% of the dialogue (if I'm lucky) and have to guess at the rest. Still, hilarity ensued! (Also, Golden Pair fans will be happy with the fanservice in this episode. ^____^)
Haha, this version of the whole "It's a date" mix-up is fantastic. It starts out because Cheng Wu wants to give flowers to Qu Xing (An). She came to watch his last match, but he lost, and then she left before he got a chance to talk to her. He drags Long Ma along to the flower shop, asks him for advice on which flowers to get, then Qu Xing comes to help them. Because of course she works there! Cheng Wu makes up something about Long Ma buying the flowers, then rushes them both out (without waiting for his change). He dumps the flowers in Long Ma's arms, then splits. Long Ma -- god, I love him for this! -- goes right back into the store and explains to Qu Xing that Cheng Wu is lame and that the flowers are actually for her. She seems very happy about this. And all would be well, except...
Ju Wan and Da Shi just happen to be hanging around outside that very store (eating ice cream -- I guess they're on a date XD) and see what appears to be Long Ma hitting on Cheng Wu's girl! Well, she isn't his girl, but the whole world knows that he'd love her to be. XD
The next day, Zhen Zhi and Da Shi are watching Ju Wan work out. Zhen Zhi has the excuse of being team trainer/manager, so I guess Da Shi is just there for the view? Ju Wan ends up telling Zhen Zhi about what they saw. "What would you think if a guy gave a girl flowers, and her face lit up?" "I'd guess he was hitting on her and she really liked him?" "Smart boy!"
Part of me wants to crack-sub this exchange, because it would actually work out really well:
Ju Wan: "Zhen Zhi, you're a guy, right? If a guy gives a girl flowers--"
Zhen Zhi: "What, you, Ju Wan? Or Da Shi? Giving flowers to a girl? BWAHAHAHA!"
After practice, Hai Tang goads Cheng Wu into calling Qu Xing (not quite sure about the exact details, as I have no subs ;___;), and he asks her if she's free on Saturday, but she says she has to work. He leaves the clubroom just as Long Ma comes in. When his phone starts ringing, Da Shi, Ju Wan, Zhen Zhi and Hai Tang totally fail at pretending they aren't trying to listen in, so Long Ma leaves, and the others all sneak after him. XD He tells whoever it is, "Sure, sure, I'll meet you Saturday", then says when and where.
Of course, guess who just HAPPENS to be hanging around that area Saturday? And Hai Tang is wearing huge sunglasses and has a pair of binoculars. Oh Cpot, my love for you, it knows no bounds.
Huh, they have Hooters (the restaurant) in China.
Anyway, they spot Qu Xing who's obviously waiting for someone. Then along comes Long Ma! I didn't understand why they were both there and both wearing the same t-shirt, but of course it looks mighty suspicious to their stalkers!
Turns out that Long Ma is meeting Coach (non)Boobs, who's trying to steal him from Qing Xue.
Back at school, Da Shi decides to have a motherly talk with Long Ma, who is thoroughly confused. He obviously thinks Da Shi knows about the other coach trying to recruit him, and can't figure out why the hell Da Shi thinks he should be worried about Cheng Wu's feelings. LOL!
Then Zhen Zhi is out for burgers with Cheng Wu, and tries to use a clever analogy to explain the situation. "So imagine there's this amazing hamburger. You love that burger, and I love that burger. We both want that burger." XDDDDDD I couldn't understand what he was saying, but I imagine Cheng Wu's response is, "What the hell are you talking about? I'd just go order another one! Or two. Or three" *continues to stuff his face*
Later on, Hai Tang and Ju Wan arrive at the clubroom just as Cheng Wu and Long Ma are leaving, in the middle of an argument. Of course, they have to follow them! They pick up Da Shi along the way, and the three of them hide outside the flowershop to watch the final showdown: Who will win Qu Xing's heart?! Long Ma and Cheng Wu start giving each other friendly punches or something, then Da Shi and the others feel they need to intervene. Qu Xing is completely baffled as to why these three clowns in workout wear are suddenly swarming the shop.
The only thing missing was Guo Guang hanging up on Zhen Zhi... except that Guo Guang wouldn't do that, because he's a caring captain who regularly sends his whole team inspiring text messages.
Watching episode 7 now, and Kirihara (Qu Wen?) has just shown up. Damn, he's gorgeous. O___O Jin Tie (Sanada) isn't as physically imposing as you'd expect, but he's got the expression down. And the cap, of course!
