Christmas fun (to hell with PC)
Dec. 26th, 2002 03:55 pmI spent a warm and cozy Christmas, though as every year, it's over much too soon. I feel I have to list my loot, so here it is:
- a portable stereo, because my old non-portable one was about to croak; I'll be able to listen to CDs in my room again!
- a Pulp CD and a mix CD (speaking of which, I should be listening to them right now!)
- books (one of them "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman, another a gorgeous coffee-table one about Vietnam)
- candles and candle-holders
- socks
- chocolates
- the special-edition LOTR DVD box-set with the Argonath bookends (now everyone, squeal excitedly along with me!)
- LOTR posters
- a scarf
- money
And it just occurred to me that I didn't get any clothes! (socks don't count). I guess everyone's come to the conclusion that I'm perfectly capable of buying my own clothes.
I had a sushi breakfast for the first time in my life, today. But since it was after noon, it isn't quite as unorthodox as it sounds.
