Sniffle sniffle
Feb. 15th, 2002 10:50 pmMy pseudo-cold didn't get any worse, which is good, but my nose is all stuffed up now and I'm sick of blowing it! Bloh, as Max would have it. At least it wasn't enough to keep me in bed. I even went on a brief cross-country skiing excursion with my father, today. The snow was pretty bad, though, so we didn't stay out that long.
I really have to get other Pulp albums. I hear their new one is quite a departure from their previous stuff, but it ought to be interesting. At any rate, the song "This Is Hardcore" is just so wonderfully sleazy. Like "I Spy" but even more sordid. Funny how Jarvis Cocker's particular brand of depravity gives me the most delicious shivers down my spine. If it were anyone else it would probably disgust me.
Friday evening, which means that I have a full schedule to look forward to for the next two, possibly three days. But I'll definitely have to start on "The Subtle Knife"; withdrawal is a harsh thing, and I even had a Pullman-inspired dream last night. More of a nightmare, actually, though once I had worked out a plan to get my friends and myself out of the grasp of the evil man intent on killing us, things were looking much less bleak. I woke up, then, so I'll never know if strangling him with my scarf would have saved us.

OOOOOOOoooooo - I do believe so..!
Loser loser loser loooooooooooooooooooooooooooser!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Date: 2002-02-17 09:50 pm (UTC)And I'll have you know that the reason I haven't yet written about my weekend is that I'm too busy living my weekend. So thank you for reading, and I'll get back to you when I'm not so busy hanging out with my geeky friends.
:)
