Beware the Ides of March!
After wondering why the swans were all black during the last act, we came to the conclusion that Swan Lake had suffered an oil spill. Tidy explanation that also accounts for everyone dying at the end. But what a production! The sets and the costumes were magnificent throughout. Now, what would it take to become a costume designer for the National Ballet...
I satisfied my urge to wear yellow and bought myself a yellow shirt. And -- horror of horrors -- it actually has ORANGE on it, but it just little stripes (pink ones, too) so it's not so bad.
Looking for the photocopy of M-P's passport I knew I had, I was stumped. I remember seeing it a few weeks ago, but I might just have thrown it out, thinking I wouldn't need it again. Then I had a flash of inspiration: why not look in my backpack, that I *still* haven't unpacked? Lo and behold, I found a different photocopy, but who cares as long as I have one. Your International Youth Card will be in my possession this afternoon if all goes well, my dear, along with our plane tickets.
