What was up with the costumes? Where I come from, Jesuit priests do not represent all that is cool. Besides which, it was a poor choice of costume for the animated bits, as textiles are incredibly hard to render convincingly, no matter how fine de weave. That Neo vs. Agents Smith fight was interesting to look at because of the lighting (real skin looked pretty pasty and artificial as well as the rendered stuff) but it looked too cheap to draw me in. I guess it doesn't really matter seeing as how Keanu is incapable of showing emotion; he might as well be animated.

Persephone was cool, the Keymaker was adorable and Trinity rode a motorcycle. On the other hand, Morpheus was annoying and the music got on my nerves in some scenes. I preferred the first film.

Well, I still like the big brawl scene =)
It may not have been "real", but it sure was entertaining!
