I've just noticed how much advertising for prescription drugs there is on American channels. "Ask your doctor about (name of drug)". I really hope they won't allow that on Canadian television anytime soon.

The television kimchii kindly lent me only goes up to channel 50; I guess that back when it was made, nobody thought we'd ever get more than 50 channels. Unfortunately, it means I can't watch Showcase!

my gosh! it never occured to me that this TV would not go beyond 50 channels! You sure it's not something that can be unprogrammed in the settings or something?
