The times, they are a-changin'!
Nov. 24th, 2003 09:04 pmOh, how my life changed last Thursday when my very own
punkieg got me my very own special boxed set of The Two Towers.
Of course it's the extended version! Plenty more Entish, Gollumy, Faramirese and Rohirrim goodness to go around. *gurgle of joy*
Unfortunately, G chose to give it to me just as we were going into St-Hubert, knowing full well that we wouldn't get to my place before 8:30 and I had to work the next day AND drive
desayuno and myself to the grand village of St-Marc-des-Carrières right after work. To my great shame, I had to stop the movie 2/3 of the way through because I could feel my eyelids growing leaden.
How was St-Marc? It was fun to see A-L make her relatives so happy just by visiting them. Her grandmother's food was very good and we had fun shopping (*ahem*) and playing cards. Also, the house was just what I expected; what I didn't expect was that her grandmother just uses the addition, the old part of the house is pretty much only for storage now.
I did my laundry this evening and managed to shield the Shirt Which Must Not Be Put In The Dryer from that eeeeeevil cigarette smoke. Go me!
