blodeueddI know, I know, turning on the computer at 10:30 is not a surefire way to get to bed early... Still, I had to find out why I had so little credit left. Damn NGC for taking my money so soon!
After thinking about it for a long time, I finally got myself House of Leaves by way of my father, who had a 20% rebate on books this weekend. For some reason, this book has represented an indulgeance ever since I heard about it; I guess that's why I didn't get it before now. Perhaps it's because I balk at spending much over ten dollars for a book. For a book, mind you. Spending nigh 30 dollars for a volume of Banana Fish makes perfect sense, even though I'm very bitter about Pulp being so slow about it. For god's sake, I could be buying it in French, people! Can't I have the next volume this year?!
