Happy 2007, everyone! May the year be good to you, may you have love, laughter, and whatever else you could wish for.

As for myself, it sure started off with a bang and things are in motion. I'm still not quite sure where they'll lead, but it's a start and no matter how painful it is now, I know that it can only get better. I suppose I'll tell the long, sordid tale eventually, but not yet, it's still too raw.

Regarding my more mundane resolutions, I have kept on knitting (love those squares, they almost knit themselves!) but haven't sewn anything yet, despite the pair of pants I promised a friend I'd hem lying accusingly beside the sewing machine.

And for my movie log:

The Return of the King: Watched the second disk (I'd watched the first a few days before) with the cast commentary. Love the hobbits, they're all funny and well-spoken. Christopher Lee rocks.

Hercules Unchained: Courtesy of MST3K, much laughter involved, of course. Too bad there were no bonus shorts on this disk.


And in other news, I seem to have made some surprise resolutions when I wasn't looking:
