Dec. 13th, 2005 12:07 amA couple of weeks ago, I bought a cork board for my sewing room, and only just hung it up. So much easier to consult the pattern instructions! Back in my apartment I could use magnets to put them up on the fridge, since I sewed in the kitchen, but here I've been spreading them out on whichever surface is available (cutting table, futon, ironing board) only to have to move them when I inevitably need that surface. And now, a place to hang a to-do list! Currently featured are 13 items. Ack!
Tonight I saw Ballet Russe with A-L. Fascinating documentary, all the more impressive to see these 80- and 90-year-old former dancers still in good shape, many of them still performing and teaching. This was a movie about dance where I didn't mind not seeing that much actual dancing, the people were so fun to listen to. Go see it!
