I meant to write about... I don't even know. I'm feeling incredibly blah. I haven't been to ballet class in two weeks, my body is feeling heavy and clumsy and my appetite is being weird. I'm tired. There are things I want to do that I just can't seem to motivate myself to do. It's a struggle to roll out of bed in the morning.

I know I can do better than this. So why am I not doing it?

Well for starters in picking up your mood we should all do a hanami party whenever they are here ^^

I'm definitely planning to do that, as soon as the sakura show up! ^_^

You might just be feeling drained without noticing it consciously.

I recommend a hearty diet of dancing around the room to U-KISS!

Yeah, I think that's the main problem. My "method" of dealing with stress: carry as though nothing's wrong, feeling fine, then when the cause of the stress is over/gone, BAM! Instant exhaustion! :D

Heeeee, U-KIIIIIIISS! <3

I think when you fall into a non-active kind of pattern, it's really easy to just stay there... The only way out, I think, is just to force yourself to do something active, even if it's just a little thing, and then that little active thing might give you the energy to do something more, and then something more, etc. That's how it usually works for me, at least - I finally drag myself out of bed or away from the computer and turn on a workout DVD or some peppy music, and that tends to get me energized enough to wash dishes or do laundry or whatever else needs doing around the house.

Anyway, not sure if that's helpful at all, but I definitely know the feeling you're talking about. >_< *moral support*

I actually have an excuse for not going to ballet: I meant to go on the 11th, but there was an earthquake. Last week I had the worst hay fever EVER so stayed home, and yesterday I was too exhausted. I WILL go next week, though! *determined*

I went to bed early last night and felt better today, so I'll do that tonight too. Thanks for the kind thoughts! :)

Boo for blah! I second what Tiff says, about starting with little energising things. When I get like that I find a walk in the fresh air with my headphones on helps a lot.

Though you could be coming down with something, so take it easy. Rest when you feel like resting, but when you start feeling yucky from staying still too long maybe go for a walk - even if it's just across to the supermarket for a bar of chocolate!

*big hugs* I hope it sorts itself out. And you know where I am in the meantime if you want to talk.

Yeah, walking to and/or from work helps, though it's not so fun in the rain.

I hope not, last week's hay fever was bad enough! But I'll go to bed early tonight again, which will hopefully help.

*hugs back* Well, pretty soon you'll be here, so I can see you in person! <3

I third what the others said about just forcing yourself to get active. It's something that I have a lot of experience in, I guess one could say. But I always feel better when I do something active. As Eda said, dancing works well too!!

Have you given any thought as to whether you might be suffering from depression? It's not the same as being depressed, and for me at least one of the biggest symptoms is listlessness.

I hope that you start to feel better! Sometime soon I'll try to call you for a little chat again. I don't know about you, but it really helped perk me up!

It's mainly the sewing that I want to get back into.

I guess it's depression for me, though not what I've always heard of as suffering from clinical depression. There are some things I need to work through on my own (and on my own time) and I'm beginning to identify some of them, which is a start. And I am doing well for some things, so at least there's that!

Thanks! Yeah, it was nice to chat for a while. You can find me on Skype as well, my user name is "mariegadelle". ^_^

OMG IT MUST BE THE RADIATION.

... j/k

I`m feeling the same way myself. I always deal with stress with a big burst of adrenaline followed by extreme exhaustion. Plus the weather is shit. You`ll feel better soon once the sun starts shining and it feels more like spring.

Nah, the only thing that's done is give me a healthy radioactive glow. ^.^

In my case, I carry on as though nothing were wrong, deal with stuff, and then crash. Useful, but annoying all the same. Yeah, I'm hoping for some sunshine at some point in the next few days... -___-;

Me too. I love how my tan shows up even in the dark. Who needs torches? Plus, now the water is nuked, I glow inside too! Double the fun! :D :D :D

It`s hard to keep Ji-ka warm in this chilly weather. I really, really hope it`s like 8 degrees warmer tomorrow.

I know, right? It's great, I don't need a nightlight if I need to use the toilet in the wee hours of the morning.

How's he doing? I hope he'll get back to stuffing his cheeks with everything in sight really soon. *warm thoughts*
