Well, I can safely say that I've never been so thoroughly spoiled on Valentine's Day before. G went all out with roses, a little stuffed animal, jewelry and a fancy dinner (at The Urban Pear, very nice) *and* a CD I wanted *and* a cute t-shirt with Basil, my Carebear, on it. A mushy card too, of course, but that was to be expected! ;D And all I had to offer was a card.

I forgot to mention that I saw "Metropolis" last week. Fascinating viewing, for more reasons than one. Think most people realize you can tell a 2-hour (plus, since a whole chunk was lost) story without sound except for music and with hardly and text?

I've just eaten and it's Saturday. What's a girl to do?! Be lazy, of course!

aw... i didn't even send you a mushy card yet - i'm so lame... well to be fair, at this point it's pretty understandable that i have a few other girls closer to my heart that took priority in the mush-card sending departement - but i'll send you a lil something soon [be afraid!]

I loved Metropoils :) It was VERY good. It is amazing that you can tell a stoy without any audio (aside from a score ). Too bad to those who missed it :)

Say, this is kinda off-topic, but have you seen the anime "Gauche the Cellist"? It's one of the most charming pieces of animation I've ever seen, simple, sweet and funny.

I want to see the version that has Queen doing the score. I love Queen and they have shown me that they can do OSTs (They did the Flash Gordon Live Action Movie Hot Hail). :) Would be awesome to see Queen do it live:) (though impossible)

As for the anime...no I have not seen it :) should I? Where could I find it?
